We’re transforming Cuero’s historic Fair building at 101 W. Main into a vibrant new home for the Cuero Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture and Visitor Center. With approximately 5,000 square feet in the heart of downtown, this landmark will become a welcoming hub for local businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

For decades, the Chamber has championed local businesses, strengthened community connections, supported economic growth, and served as a trusted resource for those visiting or considering a move to Cuero.

Through the Legacy Capital Campaign, we’re raising the funds needed to renovate this historic building and create a space that reflects both Cuero’s heritage and its future.

The renovation will focus on four key areas:

Upgraded Facilities

Architect-designed meeting rooms, conference spaces, and networking areas will create a flexible environment for collaboration, workshops, and business gatherings. The renovated facility will feature modern amenities and technology, including a 1,000-square-foot rentable event space with capacity for up to 100 guests.

Enhanced Member Services

A dedicated member resource center will provide businesses with modern tools, development resources, and expert guidance. Designed for entrepreneurs and established businesses alike, the space will support knowledge-sharing, professional growth, and long-term success.

Technology Infrastructure

Upgraded technology infrastructure will provide high-speed internet, video conferencing, and interactive displays, giving members access to the modern tools they need to connect, collaborate, and grow.

Welcoming Atmosphere

The renovated Chamber and Visitor Center will create a warm, modern, and accessible environment with inviting furnishings and natural light. Designed to make a strong first impression, the space will welcome members and visitors while encouraging connection, collaboration, and community.

The Business Resource Center

Founders Recognition

All naming rights investors will be recognized as Founders of the project through:

  • Naming rights to the selected space

  • Prominent recognition on the Founders wall inside the building

  • Prominent recognition on the campaign website, including a link where applicable
